Firstly, welcome to our website and thanks for visiting. This is the official website for Thorndale Lawn Tennis Club, located in Wallasey, Wirral, England (in the UK).

Thorndale was established as a private tennis club over 100 years ago, and has been a friendly and sociable place ever since!

Coaching Facilities

The Coaching team is Dave McIndoe (LTA Club Coach) and Adam Melling (Coach)

Members coaching (free) is on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm

Non-members coaching is Wednesday at 7:30pm and costs £3

Most people stay on to play a few games and have a few drinks afterwards.

Junior coaching is every Sunday, and is split into 2 sessions

Social Events

At Thorndale we have many social events through the year.
These range from Guest Speakers, to Hot Pot Suppers. Highlights of last year included our centenery dinner and the summer Hog Roast!

Thorndale has 4 mixed summer league teams in the Wirral Tennis League, plus 2 mens summer league teams.

In addition to that, during the winter, tennis continues with 2 mens teams and 2 ladies teams in the winter league.

Adult Membership is just £125 per year!
